We follow a gentle, 4-step process designed to make your child feel safe and in control.
Step 1: The Meet & Greet (5 Minutes) We start by sitting together to chat. I show the child my "tools"—the singing bowls, the soft chimes, and the smooth crystals. This takes away the mystery and lets them choose a favorite crystal to hold or keep near them.
Step 2: Getting Cozy Your child chooses how they want to relax. They can lie down on the table, a soft mat, sit in a chair, or even sit on a parent's lap. They stay fully clothed, and we make sure they have pillows or blankets to feel "tucked in" and secure.
Step 3: The Gentle Reset (The Reiki) I begin the session by playing a soft chime or bowl to signal "quiet time." I then place my hands lightly on or just above their head, shoulders, and feet. If a child is wiggly, I work in their "energy bubble" (the air around them) without touch. Most children describe this part as feeling "warm," "floaty," or just very sleepy.
Step 4: The "Soft Landing" We finish with a 2-minute guided story or breathing exercise to help them gently wake up their senses. Every child gets a "peace sticker" or a small grounding stone (age appropriate)to take home as a reminder of their calm "superpower."
How long is a session?
Intro sessions are 20–30 minutes depending on your child’s comfort level. Follow-on sessions are 45 minutes in length.
